Tomos, a small built male merewolf, had his head held high. The currents brought the scent of diffrent kind of coral and fish, if he was lucky a nurse shark might stumble upon him. Tomos started his trick to lure in a shark, he sped from the spot he was resting in. Almost dolphin like, Tomos used echo location to coral some bass.
He smiled and swam around his collection, some humans would think he was going to eat those fish, nope. He wanted to get a shark temptated enough to gobble up the fish. Minutes ticked by and Tomos still had the fish coralled, they were tightening into a denfensive ball. Suddenly, a tiger shark burst through the seaweed and snapped up some fish.
Tomos got into action he broke his hold upon the bass and tore through the water to get the shark. The tiger shoke his head as he gulped down the already coralled fish. He turned to grab some more was felt talons scraping the membrane skin. He opened his mouth and shoke violently.
Tomos held on, body quivering from the bloodlust of the hunt. He ranked his clawed paw and the tiger sharks gills, and ripped at the dorsal fin, the shark was immature and small so this would be an easy kill for the merewolf. Soon enough, after ripping up the sharks gills, and slapping his poweful tail at the sharks' underbelly. It passed, blood wafted up to dye the clear waters.
Tomos eagerly dug into his prize, tearing at the skin and choking it down his throat. Merewolves seemed to be the new hunters of the deep, the bad thing was that some humans had found out their existance. Some retreated to the underwater caves to raise young and such.

Enela swam gracefully through the water, enjoying life, but stopped, when the scent of blood reached her. A low growl was issued from her throat, at the thought of one of her pack members being hurt. Or it could of been a kill that they made. Either way, she was about to find out.
With one strong flicker of her tail, she was sent darting through the calm waters, leaving a trail of bubbles behind her.
The alpha female finally arrived on the scene, to find Tomos, one of her pack members, chowing down on a shark. A small sigh escaped her maw, as she began to swim over to him.
"My guess, is that shark is on the menu tonight." she said with a slight laugh. Messing around with her pack members was fun when she was bored. Now was an example.

Tomos chuckled as Enela joked with him. " Ah, yes, tiger shark. Sorry for its small size." He said pawing at the alphess, his claws then slapped the sharks still body making clear red lines down its soft underbelly, the lines vanished as the blood drifted to stain the waters surface. Tomos again sunk his teeth into the half eaten kill, he ripped up and swam away quickly. Choking down the fresh meat Tomos laid down upon the seaweed watching the alphess of his pod start to eat.
His optics glanced about, he saw a lion fish and was tempted to kill the danger. Most of the merewolf pups had been curious and had been killed by these odd creatures. But since pups were not being birthed lion fish were free to roam. But, when a female is about to conceive her litter, the pod would go through out their entire territory and slay any threat of lion fish.
Tomos decided to kill it, the adults had immunity to the poison of lion fish, pups needed to grow to have that immunity in their immune systems. Tomos reared up and raised his tail fin and slapped the lion fish silly. It drifted to the sand below, dazed then it huffed and swam upward to get away. Tomos slapped it with her paw and nipped at the stingers. Then the brute really attacked, shredding its small body with sharp fangs, when dead he buried it under the sand with his front paws.

Enela watched in amusement, as Tomos attacked the lion fish, and killed it within seconds. She began to wonder why he even bothered killing it at all. She wasn't planning on having any pups any time soon. And all of the pups that were in their pod, had grown up, and were now teenagers. So why would be go through the trouble of killing it? She shrugged it off, not finding any real answer, and quickly finished off the shark.
Her soft pink tong licked her maw, cleaning off any left over blood. Her white coat shimmered in the light that broke through the water. She felt like twirling through the water, and letting her song echo all around, for all to hear, but something stopped her. Something strange and unusual.
A freezing cold current of water hit her heat on, sending rapid chills throughout her body. For a split second, she was fully frozen in place, but snapped out of it just as fast. What the heck was that!? she thought to herself. She was even more shocked to notice her body still shaking.
Merewolves could battle any human, any fish, or any other creature you could think of, but there was one thing they couldn't battle. The water. Their home, and friend. The one thing that kept them alive while in the ocean. Who would of thought, that it was now showing aggression? Or was it just some form of effect of another? Elena didn't really know.
Her silver orbs looked up, so see a large ship, sailing above them. A large tube was hanging over the edge, and dumping something into the water. It was H2O!
The humans were beginning to get curious about the merewolves. They wanted to see how they would react to weather change. So now, they were dumping freezing cold water, from the North Pole, into their native waters; as some form of test
Elena watched as the boat finally passed. Her shivering quickened as more and more of the freezing water reached her body. The Alphess quickly darted down to the seaweed bed, and curled up in a tight ball, still shaking. There was barley any heat left in her body. Any that was left, was draining fast. And, since the ocean floor is colder than the top, she was just making it worse.

Tomos started to shiver as a large ship drifted upon them, and his body went numb as they dumbed freezing water near them. The alphess curled up in the seaweed, Tomos growled as the water temp. dropped lower. He quickly grabbed his alphess by the neck ruff and sped off to warmer waters. His front legs pumped and backfin slapped through the waters making hundreds of bubbles.
Tomos stopped as they were at the dens, he dropped his alphess on some boulders making up the dens. He grew his backlegs and quickly scrambled ontop of the rocks, his head popped from the waters surface, the cold air was unwelcoming and he quickly grew back his tail fin and sped down back to his alphess. The waters were already cold enough with winter now they would have to retreat to land because of these stupid humans.
He looked at his alphess. " We must retreat to Hono Forest." He said with a whine, his body gave another shiver and Tomos jumped up and started to swim toward the land, his eyes full of worry, what will the humans do next?

Elena nodded, and took the lead. When land was in view, her fins morphed in hind legs, her gills into lungs, and her markings vanished.
She slowly padded onto land, and looked around cautiously. Unknown dangers, such as humans could be anywhere.
