Giavonni Wolff was working on a body part of a shark that was floating in the water, the teeth marks suggested a wolf attacked it but that couldn't be accurate! Wolves did not swim, let alone kill a shark, she was making up Hypothesises but how could a wolf kill a shark? Well, it wasn't until a fishermen brough in a amazing specimen before a answer was made. A picture, a photo of a creature lurching from the water doing a half flip. Its body was lithe, it looked just as a wolf! Black furred with white eyes, and a white stripe curled down the length of its body. (Saff!) Giavonni gasped at the evidence, instead of a lower half, it had the scales and looks of a fish... She was overwelmed by this, and grabbed her notebook and started to etch out the picture, then she started to write:
Amazing evidence of half fish half wolf has been notified; a photo of a jumping... Merewolf, was given to me by the local fishermen.
A piece of shark membrane was also found having the bite marks of the merewolf, now I will find the new creature by submarine.
Giavonni Wolff smiled with delite, pure evidence of a new creature, so odd that it was nearly improbale! She closed her notebook and tucked the small pad into her lab coat pocket. She wanted to arrange a converance about this new species of wolf.. Or maybe, shark. She tapped her chin thoughtfully but that'll wait. She wanted a live specimen or even a blood sample at least. Giavonni placed the pencil back at its place behind her ear and started to pack away her equipment, putting the shark flesh into a plastic bag and the photo, of the evidence of a new species of life, in another notebook of hers.

Bic: A figure walked along the dockside. He was wearing a leather jacket, a blue shirt underneath it and dark shades. His dark brown eyes were completely hidden by the shades, giving hi ma strangely sinister look. No-one in their right minds would have guessed he was with the scientists and Giovanni Wolff.
Two fishermen passed. The figure heard most of the conversation from where he was standing. Giovanni Wolff had found a new species? Half wolf, half fish. A bit hard to believe, had it come from anyone but Wolff. But she was a top scientst, and he knew she never made a claim like that without being certain. Besides, those men had said somehting about a photograph. Well, that was probably concrete proof, if Wolff had accepted it.
He took out the cigarette he had been smoking, and blew out the smoke, then tossed the cigarette down, and the pier. He reached into a pocket of his jacket, and drew out a round, pebble shaped mobile phone with a flip up top. He pressed the button on the bottom end of it, and there was a click as it opened electronically. He dialled a number, then raised it to the side of his head, and spoke into it. "Hello, is that Giovanni Wolff? Its Kahl Lehtzen. I heard about that merewolf thing. I've got a proposition for you. You fill me in on this new discovery, and I'll help you get a live specimen. I've got all the equipment you'd need. If you want me to help you, meet me at the docks in 15 minutes. Think about it." He flicked the top of his phone down again, and looked along a small pier that ran opposite from him. Docked next to it was a small yacht. On the rear deck was a whole host of equipment such as nets, tranquilizer darts, and crates. The name of the ship was emblazened on the side of the ships prow. The Discovery.

Giavonni Wolff heard her old friend, Kahl. She took her evidence and walked out, Giavonni got into her black mustang and drove toward the docks, the engine roared then died as she stepped out of the car, locking it and putting the keys in one of her coat pockets. Giavonni smirked and walked toward the familar face, " Kahl, old friend. I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine." She said giving the photograph to him. Her eyes darted to the suppiles, old Kahl. Always ready wasn't he? Giavonni also took out her notes and handed them to Kahl.

"Thought you might come. Never could resist furthering marine research, hey?" He looked at the photo. Hmmm, no denying it, this was real. It was amazing, and in some ways intimidating, that animals so superior to them existed. He read the notes, and his eyes portrayed his amazement. "A shark eh? Good thing I brought this." He picked up a long rifle with a scope, which had been resting against a crate. He examined it lazily, then explained to Giovanni. "Tranquilizer darts. Wolf strength. Now, we just have to wait for the others. Ah, here they are." A van drew up, and three men stepped out. They wore white coats and trousers, and were obviously scientists. Kahl had hired them to help with the expedition. He knew Giovanni was worried about word getting around, so he informed her, "Don't worry, they think we're just looking for fish."

Giavonni sighed gratfully, " We should start now, that stupid Caber Tutle paid some fishermen to dump ice from the South Pole into the waters. The tempature is low enough in winter." She said under her breath, taking the photo and notes back and tucking them away into her pocket. "The fishermen that gave me this photo said that they were by the shores of Valcent Island(Hono Forest) Do you think they could go on land aswell?" Giavonni asked, forming some hypothesis in her mind, yet she was skeptical. Maybe she had miscalculated, a quick fix of combining a wolf front half with a dolphin bottom on a photoshop program might've been at work. But what about the shark meat evidence?
Her mind raced with questions, but she subsided them as the others came closer, these new creatures would be fearsome hunters. She gave a sly smile and gave a wave to the other scientists around her. Giavonni climbed up onto the boat they would be taking. " Lets go." She had some experience with driving a boat, she was born near the water and was taught how to sail at a early age. But she wanted to see anything strange for these merewolves were awesome creatures, mutants in their making.

Kahl drew out a small key, and placed it in the ignition, then turned it. The motor sprung into life, and Karl stepped into the cabin. He sat at a chair in front of the controls. There was a shout from the rear as the mooring rope was pulled in, and Kahl called out, "Lets go check out these fish!" The other scientists, only juniors at the lab, were all excited. He winked at Giovanni. Only they knew what they were really after. Well, until they got a specimen. The Discovery's rear motor sprang into life, and powered into action, as the ship headed for Valcent Island.

Giavonni got off the boat, a male merewolf was in their hands. She smiled to Kahl and said. " I had no idea of these guys strength, do you think we should let him go into the zoo? After were done with him and all, because I think he might not make it back in the wild, because of how we found him." She said with a slight frown on her face looking at the merewolf, the sun was peeking from the sky they had been out all night.

"I'll take him to Zephani Zoo, get him settled in. If we get him sorted out, he should be ok." Kahl was inwardly wondering how to get the merewolf from the boat to the zoo. "I'll give you a call in the morning, come over and see how he's doing."

Giavonni nodded some her eyes trailed down to the captured merewolf she then gave a short yawn before saying. " Alright, goodbye Kahl." She bent down to lightly pat the brute upon the head and smiled before standing and walking back to her mustang to drive away. Coming home Giavonni lazily flopped down on her bed mubbling, soon she fell asleep and wondered what would become of Kahl and her discovery.

Kahl smiled and he too patted the brutes head. It was almost completely docile now. An effect of its injuries or the caringness they had shown, which one he did not know. After a minute, he had somehow managed to get the merewolf into the back of the empty van. He walked round, and drove off, towards Zephani Zoo.
